Susan Rubin

Award-winning artist Susan Rubin works primarily in colored pencil, creating innovative botanical artwork for exhibit. She has illustrated gardening books, field guides, catalogs, seed packets, and more. Her work is included in ten books and numerous magazines and journals. An instructor of botanical art and illustration for over 25 years in the US, online and abroad, Susan is always in demand for workshops and travel teaching. She was a 2017 RHS Group Gold Medal winner for her narrative, trompe-l'oeil work. Susan's work is exhibited nationally and internationally and is held in permanent collections at the State Museum of New York in Albany, NY and the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation in Pittsburgh, PA.
